If you ever visit LG's washer and dryer plant in Clarksville, Tennessee, look out for the robots. Thanks to their sensing technologies, the automatic guided vehicles (AGVs) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) won't run you over, but you'll hold the place up until you get out of the way.

AGVs and AMRs aren't the only Industry 4.0 technologies at the plant. You'll find plenty of six-axis robot arms on the lines at Clarksville, vision systems for quality assurance and conveyors and cargo elevators to eliminate some of the dull and dirty manual operations at the plant.
