Inphi DDR3 registered clock drivers exceeds JEDEC standard.

Monday, May 5, 2008
Inphi Corp. announced that its INSSTE32882-GS04 DDR3 registered clock driver has passed validation, qualification and manufacturing readiness testing compliant to industry standard qualification requirements as defined by JEDEC Standard JESD47.

The INSSTE32882-GS04 has a typical propagation delay of 0.8 nS, well below the JEDEC proposed specification of 1.0 nS with minimal variation across process, voltage and temperature.

In addition, the INSSTE32882-GS04 meets DDR3-800 to DDR3-1600 rates, allowing memory vendors to use a single register for all four speed grades while reducing costs and simplifying the bill of materials. The INSSTE32882-GS04 also exceeds the tDYNOFF specification at all operating data rates. tDYNOFF is a critical specification that ensures the server platform has adequate margins across all operating conditions, frequency and density.

Designed for high-performance DDR3 RDIMM server applications, the Inphi INSSTE32882-GS04 supports all existing DDR3-800, DDR3-1066, DDR3-1333 and DDR3-1600 standards. This registered buffer offers quad-rank support for increased capacity in server memory. The INSSTE32882-GS04 is manufactured in 0.18 micron technology. It is available in a 176 Ball TFBGA 'eco-friendly' green package.

Pricing: Starts at $5.83 in quantities of 2000 units.
