Q. What is the difference between 3.3V and 5V Memory?
A. Some systems require 3.3-volt modules, and others require 5-volt modules. The two are not interchangeable, and the different modules actually have slightly different notches so that you won't accidentally install a 5V part in a 3.3V slot or vice versa.
